Feeling Frugal....

He's not huge, but when up on his hind legs he can reach the counter top. But with it being pushed back so far I thought he'd never reach it. He's a 60lb mutt. LOL

That is a big doggy!! I like little ones. I never want a dog to be bigger than me. :laugh

I laughed so hard when I told BS about this.

I've never been a dog person, but I've fallen so in love with our Lucy. I have developed quite a soft spot for their sweet personalities.

Lucy is bigger than I would have picked (if I had been able to pick! LOL) She is 30 lbs. but THINKS she's a lap dog. In fact, any time she finds any opportunity, she is in my lap. Today, I knelt to pet her, with one knee down, and one up, and she clawed and clamored her way onto my one raised leg. E & I laughed so hard. And she just sat their so regally that she was able to do it.

Probably the way Charlie did when he reached that chicken! :B_S

:laugh @ IF! Lol
I told MrB I was pretty sure he moved BabyB's toys into a pile and climbed up it. I can't believe he got that!

In case anyone wants to know, my house stinks. :sick this broth better be good, because it smells like cooking meat in here. Everywhere. All of my windows are open and the fans are on.

Ima die. But I'm proud of myself, LOL.

I don't like that smell either. But you did good & that smell will go away. Do you have some candles you can light? Scented candles get rid of stink better than anything else. :)

Ewwwww I love candles, but that just makes me smell candles and stink! You need to neutralize. You have the windows open, good, if you have coffee grounds from your morning coffee put them in a bowl. They absorb odors. (A bowl of vinegar works too)

I never knew that. I'm going to do that right now. I'm out of vinegar, but the grounds are still in the coffee pot.

Deewee, I can't do scented candles, or room sprays. They make me nauseous. LOL Why I didn't think this would make me sick, IDK. :laugh

Truth! (as I drink some) ;)

I have to say, I had to run errands. I closed the windows, dumped the bones etc. into the trash, put the coffee grounds in a bowl on the island, left. I got to te store and realized I forgot to take the trash out. Grrr. When I left, the house smelled to high heavens. But, when I got back I couldn't smell a thing.

Thanks, SD! You've saved my life again! :laugh

Well, I'd have enought meat for three meals, if my dog, aka Houdini, didn't steal half of it!!!! :tapfoot2 Dude, I can't even find the bones.
What in the heck do you have as a dog?
Apparently a magician is my dog. :laugh

I had the chicken on the cutting board, and a thigh fell off, it was hot, so after cutting off tonight's portion I pushed the cutting board all the way back, so Charlie wouldn't reach it. Came in a few minutes later, and the thigh and drumstick and a wing were gone. And there was my dog, sitting in front of the sink licking his greasy lips.

The pieces he got were not attached to the rest, so at least I have enough for one more meal. Grrr. I have no idea how he reached that.

You know that's the reason these little furry guys going around stretching all the time...it's to keep in shape to pull off little capers like this! lol

I bet you had one little happy guy in your house last nite.
