Fedex low cost shipping is back to it's old tricks...

Well that's interesting. My package from Amazon (shipped via Amazon) made it part of the way here and then this afternoon was changed to "undeliverable" and the order cancelled.

Only thing I can figure is that it got crushed by a forklift or the truck was in a major accident or something.

We placed an Amazon order for light fixtures, door handles, door stops, and other house stuff on Sunday. Seven boxed were delivered by Wednesday which included everything except for one light which has not shipped yet. Of the seven boxes we had to return two after opening them and finding that the glass was broken.

Hmmm I ordered 48 LED light bulbs the other day to make sure all the bulbs in the house matched color wise. I guess I better go ahead and open them and check.

Well crap. Finally found someone who still had the EcoBee remotes in stock and ordered them from Best Buy.

It's coming Fedex. Ugg. It's already in Lithia Springs (I guess the Austell name got so notorious they changed it to Lithia Springs) so now I wait to see if it can make it out....

I ordered another item from Monoprice and they shipped it via FedEx. It actually arrived exactly when it was supposed to. Haven't unpacked it yet to check for damage, but looks OK on the outside.

My wife got a package from Sam's Club the other day that was delivered by FedEx. At the end of the cul de sac where our drive way is, we have a yellow arrow with our house number on it and our neighbor has a white arrow with their number. Further down the road we again have our colored arrows and numbers pointing to our homes,,, most people get it. Two days ago the FedEx lady made the delivery,,, she set it beside the road on the arrow!! Bent the heck out of the wire stand it was on and tore up the arrow,,, you just can't hire good help these days.

They scanned it in and moved it to a delivery truck in 7 minutes. Yeah right.

Esp since it was nearly 10:00 am before the status changed to "On vehicle for delivery"

I'll be lucky to see it tomorrow.

I ordered something from Amazon that was supposed to be here yesterday, but USPS tracking says it was delayed.

We returned the 2 boxes of light fixtures with broken globes. Once the money was refunded and back onto my card we reordered them. Both boxes delivered this week and this time neither had broken globes. A total of 42 items ordered and luckily all have delivered (there were multiple items in each box).

Our luck just ran out, the Queen and I are finally experiencing our first debacle with Fedex. She placed an order from Lowes last weekend for a small item we need for the house build. Since it was over $50 it included "free shipping" so she selected that method instead of having it shipped to the store for in-store pick up. It was originally due to arrive yesterday but she just got notification that it's stuck in the Hell-On-Earth facility otherwise known as Fedex Austell.

The house build will probably be completed before the item is delivered here.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Good luck. I had a part for my weber grill come Fedex last week. First notification said it would be here in 2 days. 2 days later, it was still in MI. Ended up taking a week to get here all the while saying delivery was "next day". What a joke.

I have an Amazon order that was supposed to arrive yesterday USPS. It's now delayed to arrive today or tomorrow. Mail is delivered to us by the Cleveland post office. It arrived yesterday in Cleveland, but then sent to Clarkesville that same day. Crazy.
