When/if they charge the mom, it's gonna get nastier. I'm thinking both of them will be running their mouths about the other's involvement/prior discussions/etc. These 2 people are monsters of phenomenal proportion in my book.

Yes, ma'am, and I would like to be a fly on the wall when each of them learns that the spousal privilege thingy doesn't apply in this case. OH, I am so loving that prosecutors can compel them to testify against each other.

I got a buck on them not turning on the other.

If these two had no more love for their child than to even consider/search how to kill him, then you can bet the love between them is even less...especially if either one thinks they're going down in flames alone.

I could and probably am wrong.
Your post makes great sense and normally I would agree 100%, but for some reason, I think they are going to stick together.
But the odds are against my being correct.
It is just a gut feeling. (but I did have chili dogs yesterday, so.....)

I have just as much a chance at being wrong too. His sexting with other women (and a minor) is something that will help tip the scales on her not sticking with him/his defense in this. Women don't like being cheated on at any level.

My wife is ok with my relationship with my new girl.
Last night she asked me, "Tell me again how you plan to get together with her."
My reply, "Well, when I meet her, I plan to say, Look, all this can be yours."
The wife laughed and said, "I'm sure that will do the trick."
Then we hugged.

True, BUT - if she's so pathetic a person as to go along with this evil a crime in order to keep a man (pure panda speculation here), then all bets are off. IF they don't turn on each other as BS said, and which I am leaning towards, I'm guessing he will turn on her, but she won't turn on him. That funeral performance was beyond creepy.

I missed that, and I'm glad.

She will turn. My theory is that she will go with the martyr tactic. She will say that she could never imagine that he would do something like this and that she was simply shocked and mortified when it all came out and now she is completely devastated to find out that he is not the man she thought he was.

I've seen speculation that she'll be a witness against him. I'd rather she be a Defendant. They are both psychopaths (in my clearly non - professional opinion) and I don't think we'll ever hear the truth from either of them. So it doesn't matter if they turn or not. There is nothing they can tell me to justify what they have done.

Since we are all acting like the news media :waggingfinger and speculating at what happened or might happen :whistle I say they will turn on each other very quickly, like rabid dogs. And I expect to see that it was her that planned this in great detail. She is the ringleader, sorta speak and evidence will come out proving it. He's just a dumbass that went along with her demands because she was about to expose him to his family for the low-life turd he is.

The fireworks are far from over with this case.

I know this is a shocking crime story that many cannot understand, I highly recommend locking this thread and not starting a new one. Some are going to have deep emotional scars over this that will haunt their nightmares for many years to come. It's not worth the entertainment for the damage this could cause.

This is one of the reasons that I had to stop reading and following the Gosnell case. It was just became too much to comprehend.

Martyr is exactly what I was thinking, for more reasons than you said even.

I still cannot wrap my mind around these two... there were so many options if they truly did not wish to be parents.

The could have contacted an adoption agency (child would have never remembered them), they could have left him with relatives and disappeared.
They could have dropped him off at a firehouse or maybe a hospital bathroom, they could have left him with a note on a nice neighborhood doorstep.

Anything but what they did... they deserve to suffer hell every day of their miserable and hopefully short lives.

I cannot even discuss the details of this case without completely breaking down in tears for that precious kiddo.

:'( :'( :'(

I still got a buck on her not turning.
(you can tell how much faith I have in my opinion by the fact I am not even willing to bet enough to buy a Coke)
I am still waiting for someone to take my bet.
First come, first served.

You're on, my friend. That will buy me about 3/8ths of a cup of a Venti Dark Roast at Starbucks.

Seriously, Win? Lock this thread and not have another? I get that you think there are people that should back away from this because they aren't capable of handling it but you can't really suggest that the mods/admin here start playing Nanny State and deciding what is safe for open discussion. (Don't read tone into this as there is none ... just surprised by your typed words.)

I would not be one bit surprised. Ain't nothin' meaner'n a mean woman.
