This is one reason I think Trump would be a bad president. He's stating for fact (100%) that the crash was the result of terrorism when he has no facts to back it up. Making such statements as President would make him look like more of an idiot than he is now.

Now there are reports that a fire on-board may have caused the crash. Granted that doesn't mean it wasn't terrorism but it does suggest an alternative cause.

One conspiracy theory is that it was staged just to catch Trump. Hillary is losing ground fast so something has to happen quickly in her favor. What a better way than to set him up and let him put his own neck inside the noose. I'm not saying I subscribe to the thought, I'm just saying.

He best be right or you can bet he'll pay the price for making such a statement. I personally think it was terrorist related but it sure is coincidental that nobody has yet claimed responsibility.

His tendency to be a loose cannon is one of the problems I have with him.

The office of the POTUS deserves more class and dignity than that.
 
Most aircraft terrorist attacks are immediately catastrophic. That doesn't mean that it wasn't a terrorist attack, but the fact that there was smoke for minutes prior to the crash, and that some of that smoke originated in areas without passenger or luggage access make it less likely. The fact that the alarms all seemed to be unrelated (window heater, lavatory, seat, avionics compartment) also indicates that the problem was most likely in the "central nervous system" of the plane. If the avionics compartment alarm was the real one, and we just don't know that, then that would possibly explain the lack of communications and the eventual loss of control. Hopefully they will find the black box because the system that sent the messages was not meant to diagnose or report crash data. That system is meant to report maintenance and performance data to the ground, and that is one reason why the data may seem somewhat random.

You're just saying what? That Hillary shot down an airplane and killed all those people just so that Donald Trump would say something stupid? Love him or hate him, we all know he doesn't need help to do that. Do you believe this is what Ms. Clinton did? If not, why bring it up?

I think he meant that they staged the interview with Trump to catch him on yet another stupid answer.

Exactly! Because people are over blowing the comments by Trump as if his comments have no basis of truth. I'm not sticking up for him just understanding that he is going to fall on the side of right mostly likely according to statistics. Planes don't just fall out of the sky. Well, that's what the consensus of the NASB is most of the time.

He's a loose cannon and making such statements if he's president will not be good. He may be right but unless he was involved in making the plane crash then he has no absolute facts to know it was 100% terrorism. Statistics would indicate that it isn't terrorism. There are far more plane crashes due to mechanical or pilot failures than terrorism.

Making up stuff to make idiot Trump look better is silly in my opinion.
 
I don't disagree that trump said things that are not in line with what we "think" politicians normally say but I also think our perceptions of what politicians should say has been pushed so far to one side by political correctness that we can't even be ourselves or just normal in our speech. A person like Trump, who speaks more like a common man, is never going to fit the mold of what Washington elitist deem appropriate. It's that group which has put us in the awful mess today.

I brought it up just to piss people off. No, not really. I brought it up because I've heard people actually say it was possibly a staged incident that could help Hillary, mainly because in times of crisis people generally lean towards their current leaders for information and protection. Trump is not a politician yet, he certainly doesn't have a security clearance required to be directly involved in the investigation. Hillary does and it gives her an advantage of knowing what actually happened. Trump can guess and he may guess correctly but he may also guess incorrectly. If so, his comments will certainly be used against him for Hillary's advantage. No, I certainly don't subscribe to the idea that Hillary was behind it. I find it strange that people would even think it. Does that mean I shouldn't have posted it?
