They have a nice little bulk section, too. It's where I get my stevia extract powder, nutritional yeast, raw cashews, etc.

I just checked out their FB page. It doesn't look their prices are too bad in the pictures where I could see the prices... I will be going by there very, very soon.
 
Always check out the 50% off cart near the front of the store. I've gotten some great stuff off that cart.
 
Hey, UM! Kroger in Dallas DOES have Spectrum coconut oil. It's 8.49 a jar, or 19.99 for the big jar. They had some others, but I forgot the brands. It's in the organic section, not regular oil section.
 
Question!

I bought Trader Joe's coconut oil after using that other stuff up. I don't use it often, so it's been in my pantry about a month before I opened it. I used about 1-2tsp in my cast iron skillet and it smelled like coconut! Like suntan lotion! YUCK! I gagged. I tasted an onion I sautéed in it and it had a slight hint of an aftertaste of coconut!

Do other brands do this?? Does anyone want this jar??? Please tell me this isn't normal and that I can buy another brand and it will be okay.
