Well, got to say I'm pretty pleased with the results. The chicken and salmon are incredibly moist. Some good smoked flavor. Well definitely be doing this again!

Yum, yum. Give me a link to that stove top smoker. Please. ;D

Here you go!

A friend of mine has been wanting one of these for years.
Not sure why he never gets one, maybe he likes wanting more than getting.

I'm guessing that your stove has to vent to the outside.

Sent from a small screen using fat thumbs.

Called it.

And ours doesn't .... :rant

Woke up this morning, well actually a few times last night, to the strong smell of smoke. We could smell it during the cooking process, but it wasn't too bad. Also didn't set off the smoke detectors. But, going to have to find a different way of doing this next time. Will need to open some windows and air out the house now

My grill has a side burner, but then why not just use the grill?? My stove isn't vented to the outside. :(

Yeah, you could use the grill. I do like that this little guy is so much easier to clean up.

Next attempt, I'll open a few windows to see if that fixes things.

We have a window over the sink, I find when I'm canning stuff I put a little 10 in box fan in the window, push it all the way to one side and tape off the other side with cardboard. Works great to pull the heat out, the rest of the house stays cool. Might work for the smoker, too.
