Amazing how many polls

One thing for sure, nobody can blame to Trump supporters this time around. At least not at this stage in the game. They’re doing their part so far, it’s up to the hold outs now.

Depends on how you look at it. I could argue that Trump supporters are the hold outs for not embracing and voting for DeSantis who would be a superior POTUS.

IMO, the anti-Trumpers in the GOP are doing as much damage as the left is.

So roughly 90% of Republican voters are wrong?

That's a bold claim.

Not necessarily, I just don't understand what good all the bitching does. IMO, the anti-Trumpers in the GOP are doing as much damage as the left is.

It's time to get behind our quarterback.

I had an interesting conversation today with the guy next door at work. Young black guy, originally from Jamaica, smart kid. I've gotten pretty close to him and his dad. One of his businesses (delivery service) is really struggling, he's losing money on it. Was doing OK for awhile, but he went on about how all the expenses had gone up, fuel is higher, insurance is higher, tires are higher, paying drivers more, etc. He was thinking about going back to mechanic work and flipping cars, he said he always made money on that. I didn't get political, but trying to be helpful I told him the economy was likely to get worse, and he might want to consider cutting his losses and going back to doing what he was successful at.

He brought up Trump...talked about how much better things were, how he always made money when Trump was in office, everything cost less, etc.

That said a lot to me.
There are droves of people of all races and nationalities with similar stories.

Post of the Day!

If conservatives will get their heads out of their butts and go vote without the butt hurt, we'll get the White House back.

So, now those that don't like Trump are butt hurt and have our heads in our asses?

Also, Trump can't win the White House with just the conservative vote. He needs some independents too. He hasn't done anything since 2020 to gain any votes and has actually lost votes since then. But by all means, those of us who are butt hurt are the problem.

Why do you and Boss take these statements personally? I didn't name any names.

I just don't get what drives some people to constantly tear down the guy who might be our only hope.

You could. I could blame it on DS for running a terrible campaign so there’s that too. Unless he is picked for VP then DS is no longer in the conversation this cycle.

DeSantis was polling at roughly 10-11 percent nationwide. That means the other 90%ish wanted someone else.
Show us the polls. I don't see how Trump was polling at 90%. What did the pollster do, leave out Haley, Swampy, and the others?

The butt hurt comments aren't really important so I'll take your word that you didn't mean Boss and I.

I just don't get what drives some people to constantly ignore reality about Trump. He's a very flawed candidate and the points I made above will be played out over the next year so I don't understand why we should ignore them.

There are some things we can't change. You dance with the one who brung ya.

If a majority of voters who aren't freakin' idiots or liberals (is that redundant?) will go to the polls and vote without an attitude, we'll get the White House back.
