The Highway guys could take a lesson. Each gift is (obviously) well thought out (which is the best part of a gift) but none of the gifts seem overly expensive. In fact, more than one were items she would have likely picked up for herself anyway. It was just so much more special in lovely gift paper. We've ALL loved the thoughtfulness that has gone into each and every gift and wrapping. Which just goes to show, it IS the thought that counts!

YES YES YES!!! One time when they were very poor and had agreed not to do birthday gifts, a friend's husband stayed up after she went to bed and got his friend to help him make her a birthday cake. It looked and tasted horrible, but she cried (tears of joy) when he presented it to her. She still talks about what a great gift that was.

Technically, it's Madea's fault, because she mentioned the gift part, but I'll take responsibility. Which is why I'm heading to the doghouse. Imma hafta do something real nice for SD to make up for it. :hanginghead:

Day 18 of 29 ~ Betsey Johnson necklace with a crystal heart, bow, and high heel! LOVE it!
Ooops...can't forget the 10 pink balloons that my poor doggy is scared to death of!
) She is going to be traumatized from all these balloons in the house. (Day 1's balloon is still up!!)

Day 19 of 29~ Another trip to Sephora..LOL Purity (Philosophy) One step facial. I LOVE this stuff with my Clarisonic and always just pick up the little ones. This will last a while! (The Sugar Lip stuff was actually a gift from Sephora!) )
