MeiLan - Yes. He gets major points for picking up what I liked! Pipe dreaming at stores before Christmas! He said I probably would have got the sink and faucet too if I would have shown him back then what I liked! :faint :BH :faint

Thanks! I was sort of hoping he visited you for hardwoods! :)) (That might have been a bit much. Besides the kitchen I want the whole top floor done.) I am happy though! I needed the kitchen done.

Day 29 of 29 ~ A new mattress set and comforter & pillow set. It is gold and chocolate brown! It is beautiful.

GD I could not post ALL day because he had to go and get bolts and metal thingies to lower the bed. I could not even take a running leap into it! :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh I still have to jump, but at least I can get in!
 
Hey, I'm getting a new mattress soon too. And guess what ... I won't have to have a set of stairs built for me to get into my bed. :taunt :laugh
 
True story...

We had a cat years ago, she always slept at the foot of the bed. At bedtime, she would always come through the bedroom door in a run and take a leap onto the bed. Well, we bought one of the new mattresses that was much higher, and when she came to bed that night she ran and took her leap...and crashed head-on into the side of the new mattress.

She was seriously pissed about that.

Meanwhile, we've had the same bed/mattress for years and hubby's stupid little girlie dog face plants into the side of it on many occasions.

Bet you would if you had mine! :taunt Son had a hard time with it too. (he is 6'1") This thing is huge, I mean HUGE. The dang box spring is 11.5" :eek: The high wrought iron canopy did not help though!
GD our doggy was whining the whole time it was up this afternoon before husband could get it fixed, she could not get in either. I am glad she did not hit the side. :laugh
