Ain't nothing more fun than when the whites are running. This is more on topic should have mentioned this in the last post sorry. I went by Cherokee Mills park today to check water levels. All three ramps are usable water looks like chocolate milk. I talked to a guy who was loading up to leave and he said the white bass are probably two-three weeks out at Little River and Etowah channels. He seemed to be familiar with the lake. He had 45 crappie in the cooler caught this morning between two of them. I can give details if anyone is interested.

Second place again.Ain't nothing more fun than when the whites are running.
You're probably two weeks out from the bass spawn. They will hit the larger coves on the tributaries first because those typically warm faster. Look for sunny banks out of the current, clay banks with gravel near.
Once the water hits the high 60s they will be bedding in shallow water to lay eggs. That's when you can catch some big mamas! Throw slow moving plastics and jogs up to the water's edge and let them settle in the beds, and the sows will attack your bait.
Lemme get my eyes back and we'll run up one day or evening. I'll show you some honey holes.
