13% looting and rioting in Minneapolis...

I'm very impressed with the Atlanta leadership. They were caught somewhat off guard but still quickly understood the situation. Mayor Bottoms speech was just awesome as was that of the Chief.

Tonight they were prepared and appear to have complete control. Democrat or not, good job. Atlanta is the best in the country at this. Last night was a fluke and it wasn't because of Atlantans.
 
There is one problem with these "impressive heart felt speeches" the mayor is making. She is making them to the people sitting at home not involved in the riots. You can't lead from behind. She should be on a megaphone at these various sites telling her constituents in person to go home. The same goes for the curfew. Announcing it on TV does not get the message to the crowds that are already assembled outside at these locations. Also where are the Tyler Perry's and great civil rights leaders during all of this? Why aren't they on site diffusing the violence and criminal activity? They will be the first to cash in on civil unrest but don't practice what they preach. I have no problem with the peaceful protests but these criminals hiding behind a cause have zero interest in protesting they see opportunity.

That moment when you realize you’re not the bad arse you thought you were. To be fair they could have been lost travelers who happened to end up on that street by accident. Nah, they were “protesters” who defied curfew so I have no issue with it. Funny how the people who were home by 9pm had no issue with LE.

Interesting, from my Next Door account. Poway, CA is one of the conservative communities in San Diego.

The police force there is actually a little overbearing.

Last month they threatened a mom and her 8 year old daughter with jail when they rode their bike in an elementary school parking lot. They were out exercising during the corona lock down, dad was walking the dog behind them, they took a few laps in the parking lot to let him catch up and the police literally did a u turn in the middle of the street and went well over the speed limit to go harass his wife and daughter. The parking lot was not posted as off limits, or blocked with caution tape, or anything like they did to all the beaches and hiking trails... so it really made no sense. Just a typical complaint about Poway police.

Poway police will not tolerate crap like antifa. I don't know how large the force is though.

a friend just told me it's all over social media that what happened last night in La Mesa is planned for tonight in Poway. their downtown, their Sprouts was vandalized. i certainly hope this does not occur.

Poway does not deserve anything like what is happening in major metropolitan areas. A strong sheriffs' and citizen stand against outside agitators and property damage should be the response.

Yes was just there they are boarding up the main entrance. And the other door they are lined up and they are letting in so many at a time.

Our local Mercedes Benz dealership was vandalized along with PF Change and Crate & Barrel.

Word on the street is that they are headed to a North Scottsdale, high-end shopping area next.

I don't think these are local Scottsdale kids doing this. Plus, the gov. just instilled an 8PM curfew.
 
The lack of leadership in this country is sickening. Not just a DJT bash, I mean from local to Washington we are in deep doo-doo without anyone of character driving the train. Enough is enough we are suppose to be a country of laws that protect individuals and property. These hoodlums are eventually going to confront the wrong person and their will be blood. Then the doo-doo will really hit the fan.

That’s exactly what the left is hoping happens. There’s only one element missing from theIr election platform now, they won’t stop until the 2nd Amendment is front and center. Actually they won’t stop there either. Their game plan is chaos.
