We just found out that Wifey's boss died today. They found him dead in the bathroom; he fell and busted his head but they don't yet know if that killed him or if he had a heart attack.

He was a local businessman, I'll post more details tomorrow after the word is out.

OK, I think the news is out now.

This was the owner of the McDonald's stores in Dallas, Hiram, Austell, and Mableton. We had known him for over 30 years and became good friends with him and his wife. Wifey and I both worked there many years ago (that's where we met) and wifey went back as their office and marketing manager about 6 years ago.

His wife found him about 5:30 yesterday in the bathroom. He had obviously fallen and hit his head; it's not known at this point if that was the cause of death or if he had a heart attack.

We're headed over there in a bit.
 
Well, we spent most of the day with them. His wife is doing as well as can be expected. Arrangements to be made tomorrow.
 
I'm sorry to hear the news. May God give peace to his wife and family. It's not easy to accept that we are never promised tomorrow. We have to cherish each day and never fail to say "I Love You" to family when we part. When I was very young I listened to a young man at church say that during his testimony. From then on, I always tell those I love, "I Love You" before leaving them or saying goodby on the phone.
