Rommel and Odin ... they turned 8 weeks today. They came home last Thursday at 7 weeks.

GAH!!! You could at least give me one of them!!! Are any of them all black? I used to walk my elderly next-door neighbor's grandson's large black GS when he was in boot camp and OCS...his name was Rommel. Said grandson is a military history nut. This Rommel is about eight now, and doing well. He lives in Kentucky at Fort Campbell with his human now. I miss him.

RE: Rommel - I've studied him since that time, and he was a fascinating (and brave) man. Great military leader. At least he realized he was on the wrong side before the end.

RE: Rommel - I've studied him since that time, and he was a fascinating (and brave) man. Great military leader. At least he realized he was on the wrong side before the end.

I haven't broken it to hubby yet but he's most likely going to need to come up with a different name for Rommel's registration. AKC only allows a certain number of any name and I'm guessing that one was maxed out a long time ago. ) Rommel can still be his "call name", obviously ... just can't be his registered name.
