Who Wants a Free Smart Phone?

Long story, but a bud of mine is a rep for one of the manufacturers and he's got a couple left. He said I could find a home for one.

AT&T only. Just move your sim card if it's 3G and you're in business.

It's a Windows Phone, an LG Quantum. This is the exact phone I was using before I went to the iPhone. It's a really cool phone, but the iPhones and Androids have a slight edge on things like apps. 16 gig internal memory so it makes a great ZUNE media player, 1 gig processor. Will probably come with WP7, but will upgrade to WP7.5 when you sync with ZUNE. 7.5 really raised the cool level of the one I had.

Claim it and I'll get it for you.

I'm still old-schoolin' it till I have to make the move to a smart phone. I love zippy technology, but I can be a Luddite when I wanna be.

I have to stay connected for work and my forums. My phone checks 3 e-mail accounts, gives me internet, I do my banking on it, keep my notes and itinerary; it's even my Bible. I also have music on it and use it for internet radio and Netflix. The people at the gym think it's funny that I watch TV on my phone while on the treadmill.

Oh, if I needed it for bidness like you do, it'd be invaluable. I've seen people taking notes during the sermon on theirs. Some folks think they're texting, and perhaps some are, but I know some of them are taking notes. Cool.

I love technology, so I'd have one whether I needed it or not. I'm just nerdy like that. ;D

OK...

NJ has first dibs, Sadie has second.

I'll wait to hear from NJ.
Yep that is what he has. We would love to get it.

Then it's yours. I'll get him to get it to me as soon as possible.

Sadie, I'll see if he can get two by some chance.

Not me, bro. I think the technology we have today, as cool as it is, makes people more distant. Then again, I am a simple man. I like a switch for on and a switch for off, kind of like a coffee pot. It took me six months to figure out how to turn the television on.

Hope he can get two. With college expenses a phone like that can be way over the budget. Thank you so much.
