What's that, DOnald? Amnesty? Oh dear!!

Go Trump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday during a speech he said "I read the bible more than anyone". Yeah, right Donald.

The GOP and media giants have one week to stop the Trump train. After next Tuesday it will be almost impossible. Better hope Rubio can make something happen soon or it's all but over.

Sadly, you're right. But I think the only way to do it would be for Kasich, Carson, and one of Cruz/Rubio to get out and endorse the other. And this ain't gonna happen.

I really expect Trump to get the GOP nomination.

Which means all my efforts to open people's eyes is in vain. But oh well.

I'm holding out hope that he doesn't get the nomination. But I also held out hope that Romney would beat Obama in the last election and we know how that worked out.

One thing is for sure, if he becomes president (assuming he beats HRC which isn't a given), it'll be an entertaining 4 or 8 years.

He may win the delegates but I'm still not certain he'll get the nomination. We'll see what they can "Trump" up this week, there's still plenty of time for shenanigans.

Is Romney trolling Trump or does he know something? Countdown until Trump goes on a twitter bash session against Romney...3, 2, 1..

Romney: Good Reason to Believe There’s a ‘Bombshell’ in Donald Trump’s Taxes
Given the timing, this reeks of a desperate attempt from the GOP to knock him out.

As much as I dislike Trump, I really hope the GOP doesn't play these reindeer games, especially a brokered convention. If Trump gets the voter's support for the nomination, they need to let him have it. If they don't, the Republican voters will stay home on election day, and you know what that means.

If any of you folks vote for Trump in the primary, you're not my friend any longer. He's a troll, and a vote for him is a vote for either Clinton or Sanders.

It's also a vote for idiocrity.

Rubio is a repetitive fool.

I hate this election. I am finding how much I dislike my friends even more this time around than last.

Not you guys, actually! Lol I mean this about my friends that I've had for years and years. Since high school, so on and so forth.

But really, go vote in the primary. Just don't vote trump. :nun:

I am having a hard time with many dear friends who are so far up Trump's but they can't see the light of day. People who are rock solid conservatives, many of them good Christians. Yet they are so under his spell that I can't reason with them. I show them solid proof that the man is not what he claims to be, and they won;t even look at it.

Very frustrating! I suspect Trump will get the nomination, no matter what any of us do.

My problem is not just Trump supporters, but Sanders supporters, too! I can't take the madness! I told MrB this election will leave us friendless, and possibly penniless and homeless as well..

Yep. I am the eternal optimist, but I can't help but feel that we're screwed this time.

I am sorry, but I do find this hilarious. Some of you (general you) will not look at things other that what you believe to be true, and even when and if you look you (again general you) still do not believe anything other than what you believed before you looked. So why would anyone think they can open the eyes of or change the minds of someone else when they are just as set in their own thinking? :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: (It is okay, I do it all the time, but I know my efforts are in vain.....)

People are turning out it droves for Trump. I am shocked at the number of people that voted for him in Nevada. Have all these republicans been staying home for the last two elections? Did he get crossover votes? If he can get this many votes and keep out Clinton, let him be President. (He is picking up votes from ALL walks of life. Educated, uneducated, rich, poor, all races....)

I see no way Cruz can rally this many republicans or beat Clinton. Again while I think Cruz is brilliant IQ wise, he is not very likable. So many do not like him, do not want to work with him, and I can not look at him. :p I do not see any way in this election that we win. :( If Trump does, we have someone that really does not know what he is doing, though can talk a good game, and maybe surround himself with brilliant people. Cruz knows what he is doing, but I do not see him getting much done because his own party does not want to work with him. Rubio, I do not think he can win, and I really with he would have waited another 4 years because he really is a nice guy and family man, if a bit establishment, and I think he could have done much better later. Or we get Hillary...enough said.

I am still on the fence with all R's.

Polls repeatedly show that Trump has the hardest time beating Hillary. Rubio usually beats her the easiest, then Cruz. I agree with @Guard Dad I just don't understand why staunch conservatives have jumped on to the Trump bandwagon considering all of his policy positions. I understand how everyone is mad at the establishment. I get that...I am too but electing someone that was one of the folks paying off the establishment is not going to solve the problem. Especially when that person's ideology fits more with the democrat party than the republican party.

One of the Socialists at the other forum made a post the other day that hit home.

I'm paraphrasing, but the gist of it was that it doesn't matter to him whether Hillary or Trump wins; we'll have a Democrat in the White House either way.
