Looks like the cat bounced off the ledge and is falling again.
This morning was round 3 of lithotripsy.
This kidney stone must be made from a military grade, rare metal.
I'm kinda bruised on my left flank and still a lil' off kilter from the anesthesia.
It's the same anesthesia that killed Michael Jackson. Stupid Ol' Michael Jackson.
Carry On.

I just finished with my Urologist, (went back to get annual script refills). He found blood in urine and off we went. After a CTscan and a cystoscope run, we decided to leave the three stones in each kidney alone until they 'present',,, which is code for 'Hurt like Hell'!!!
It's going to be a fun summer...
Dang, dude! Get better!
That’s exactly what almost happened to my MIL. She recently had several stones but because of nerve damage from a previous stroke did not feel the pain associated with passing stones. She eventually got very sick and after several rounds of tests she was diagnosed as severely septic. After clearing that up they finally removed the stones. She is in rehab now.I'm happy that this is almost behind me.
200 years ago, more than likely, the kidney becomes blocked and infected, I go septic..... and die.
I regard that as a 'below average' outcome.
We're blessed to have this kind of medicine available. Who knows what treatment options will be available in the future?
For now, I'm grateful for the options we have today.
I can't help it....what's on my mind this morning is a 75 degree day and the top down with the Lovely and Gracious Mrs. Colson going along for the ride... Old Grey is an absolute Bad A$$!
