What\'s For Dinner ?

Pursuit Driver
Hubby is off all week so that gives me a bit more time to cook and bake...

Tonight we are having Mommy's famous buckwheat banana pancakes,
with some nice ham steaks leftover from the big Christmas breakfast...

Whatcha havin fer supper ? ? ?

Trying to use up my ham so tonight it's scalloped taters & ham baked in a nice cheezy sauce. Tomorrow will be making a couple of soups...chunky ham and potato, and a batch of northern beans cooked with the ham bone

Whatever leftovers you grab. I am not making anything new until all of this is gone. Plus I am sick of cooking. :))

We're having black bean quesadillas that I'll make on my new quesadilla maker. And Spanish rice with sausage on he side.

Welcome to Moe's!!

Joey Jr ... rice, black beans, chicken. Yummers! (And NOT from the one in Hiram. :sick )

I dislike Hirams! It is yucky.
The food is noticeably lower in quality ... the employees just don't seem to give a poop ... the whole atmosphere is just wrong. I don't see how they can get away with being so far off the Moe's path and keeping the franchise.

And for those of you into eaten better/healthier/safer ... absolutely check out Moe's. (Just not the one in Hiram.) No hormones, no steroids, cage-free, grass-fed, etc.

I know. What is it with them? I had never been to a Moe's I did not like, until I went there.

Willy's is way better. I looooooooooooove Willy's. Regular with tofu, black beans, rice, cheese and lettuce. And sometimes corn salsa/relish. Mmmmmmmm

Where/what is Willy's and is their chicken cage and hormone free? What about their steak ... grass-fed?

I have only eaten at Moe's once and it was the one in Hiram. I've always heard people talking about how good they are and I never understood why. I guess now I know...it wasn't Moe's I disliked, it was just that I ate at the wrong one. I will have to try them again sometime.

Oh, yeah - Willy's is way better. There's one in Kennesaw and another in Marietta off Powers Ferry. Don't know about any others. It's like Moe's, but as Mrs. B said - way better.
