May 16-20, 2011 is Bike to Work Week

Cobb Employee Alternative Transportation Programs invites employees to bike to work or try cycling for fun, fitness or transportation. Biking to work is an efficient and fun way to get the exercise you need when you can't find the extra time to work out. And this year, with gasoline prices skyrocketing, biking to work makes more sense than ever! ​

Have these people not seen the traffic on Dallas Hwy, Macland Road, South Cobb Drive, Windy Hill or as I call it "Breezy Bump" )

Unless you live and work in the same subdivision, this idea is insane! I wouldn't even ride a bike down Hiram-Sudie at 4 AM. I'll tell you, there are too many people who haven't heard the POP yet. :Stick

If they'd stop buying farms for millions of dollars that set vacant and they can not longer collect taxes on, maybe I would not have to be handing out furlough days to our personnel including myself.

I read about those mules. Maybe some folks, in power in Cobb, are taking Stubborn lessons from them. I know someone who is running against the Commission Chair in the next race.
