You find in pockets on laundry day?

I call it my tips! Today alone I've found $4 and change! :cheer1

At christmas time my son put his jeans in the dirty clothes and I was cleaning out pockets and found a $50.00 bill and said oh lookie what I found..he almost had a stroke cause he knows I usually keep it. :laugh

Since it was Christmas and it was given to him by his grandparents I decided to be nice and let him keep it..lol he has lost 10 bucks here and 5 bucks there cause he forgets to clean out his pockets. They know the rule, if I find it in the pockets it's mine! I like that MrsB...I will start telling them those are my tips!
 
It depends on how much it is - if it's change, I usually put it on the dryer for hubby to claim (if the princess doesn't get it first). If it's more than that, I keep it safely in my purse... ;D
 
Bonuses Baby!

I have a mason jar in my laundry room that all the found money goes in to. Well, except that one time I found a $20 doing the husband's laundry! :)) I put it in the jar and the kids usually take it out (since they discovered it). It's actually empty right now. :)) They know I won't check pockets and whatever falls out is mine. :D
 
my family has learned... I dont get no money anymore =(

lol and after my dd left her lip gloss in her pocket and ruined over $300 worth of clothes and had to replace them she has learned to get everything out now lol

My friend did ask me to help her get caught up on laundry and told me to keep all money I find... I did walk away wwith $0ish but I bought all of us dinner cause I would of felt bad for keeping it

I've thought about a jar in the laundry room. But if MrB ever got in there he'd see it and take it. LOL. Now I stuff it in my purse. Haha!
 
Back in the day when I was out in a service truck every day, "She who adores me" would fill up a jar every wash with screws, wire nuts, etc.

She also washed my cell phone once.

I used to find money all the time in my ex's pockets...along with guitar picks, nails and other stupid stuff. Marc does all our laundry now, so I never find anything AND I make sure he doesn't either. ;D

I always check pockets, mostly b/c MrB is notorious for leaving receipts in his pockets and I hate picking off all those little peices of paper.
 
Yep, I'm with MSB, MINE -- ALL MINE! And for those d*&%heads that leave cellphones in their pocket, they DESERVE the consequences.... stirthepot2
 
Haha! Years ago MrB and I lived in an awesome apartment complex in Vinings. Every weekend we went to the pool and hung out with the peeps. Always the same folks, almost all pilots and flight attendants. We'd all have coolers of beer and we'd alternate who brought the enormous pitcher of sangria.

Anyway, one summer MrB had to replace his phone three times for jumping in the pool with it in his pocket. LOL too much to drink. Haha
