Based on who it is that is teaching it......
Seriously, every single time Islam is brought up in reference to terror people speak and talk of the most extreme. Text is taken out of context and the most radical examples are presented.
While taking Islam studies in school my son learned a lot, what the text meant in the context it was written. That same text was taught completely different during federal security classes he took for work. So which is true? Probably both. For most people that follow the religion of Islam the former would apply and then you have the radicals.
RADICALS. Not every child is being taught to kill. Not every Muslim is a terrorist. Not every young white male is shooting up schools, theaters, and churches.
While horrible things (as your video) exists each time I hear someone speak as if every Muslim is out to get them, it sounds as ridiculous as those claiming Trump has stolen every right they have and is the new Hitler. Both sides of the aisle passionately believe those are true, have videos,facts, and don't forget meme's, to back their claim, but while there is truth within the videos and facts, the claim as a whole is not true.
**disclaimer: My post is thoughts on this thread. I am in agreement regarding closing the borders and not allowing anyone (EXCEPT green card and visa holders) in from the countries that Trump listed while they assess the security measures for the next few months. I have not said that terrorists are not out there, or have my head in the sand about radicals, but I also see the extremes both sides scream to make their cases.
