I've been hearing chatter about this too. And the name that keeps coming up? Stacey Abrams.
Are you afraid yet?
Yeah, but there's no denying the influence she had on the last election in Georgia. She's a formidable woman. If Harris is getting the boot, I doubt they would go with Abrams unless they felt they had to go with another black woman to replace Harris. She's largely a nobody outside of Georgia and would likely cause some of the same problems Harris is causing.
Hmmm... Newsom disappeared for 13 days a few weeks ago, we thought it was due to the vaxx... maybe he was being courted by the White House!
Nah... he's too white and too male to replace the current "check the boxes" VP.
Harris resigns, Hillary is picked as the replacement VP then Biden resigns
BOOM President HRC
There is a sixth reason - she's completely unlikable.5 reasons why Kamala Harris' presidential dreams probably won't come true
The headlines in November for Vice President Kamala Harris have not been good.www.foxnews.com
I think the idea is that they want Biden to step aside at around 2 years. If they put in a new VP who is better liked, Biden steps down, the VP is your new Democrat President of the United States. At the end of two years, they are still eligible to run two more times, giving them 10 years for the Dems to destroy our country and make it Marxists. For the sake of argument, the Biden administration gives Harris the boot. It wouldn't matter who the next VP would be, that VP would be tied to a terrible president, the policies of the president they served, etc. They only way for that VP to gain approval would be to publicly disagree with Biden's positions on the key issues while offering viable alternatives.
the GOP impeaches and removes first Kamala, replacing her with a Republican, then impeaches Biden
That side likes to help people suicide themselves... especially if Biden steps down, they make Hillary VP.OK, I looked it up, as I understand it, a VP can only be removed by impeachment in the house and conviction in the senate.
Assuming this is the plan, I'm pretty sure it would have to be done before the mid-terms. I see two possibilities:
1) The Dems try to replace Karmala well before the mid-terms, and then invoke the 25th of Biden, also prior to the mid-terms, making the new VP president
-Or-
2) Nothing happens before the mid-terms, and the GOP impeaches and removes first Kamala, replacing her with a Republican, then impeaches Biden, making the Republican veep president.
Hmmm, this could be fun!
Afghanistan, for one.I get that presidents can be impeached for no reason now, but what basis would the GOP have to impeach Biden that isn't blatantly political?
Maybe the DNC forces her to resign. I'm sure someone's got a lot of dirt on her.The more likely reason for getting a new VP is due to Harris becoming POTUS after Biden steps down. I just can't see her getting impeached. Maybe she quits on her own?
#2 I like the way you think.OK, I looked it up, as I understand it, a VP can only be removed by impeachment in the house and conviction in the senate.
