I love your siggy...forgetting about ourselves and our own troubles, and focusing on those around us is the key to salvation.
If we think of others, in spite of our own plights, God will take care of our own (seemingly insignificant) problems. Life is funny...how we can get so buried in our own troubles, when all we need to do is look around us and see that no matter how bad we think things are for us, there is always someone who has it much worse.
It's so easy to get caught up in our own troubles that we often fail to see others who are in worse shape. I firmly believe God wants us to trust Him with our own problems, while we focus on others...many who do not even know that there is a loving God who will gladly help them in ways they could never imagine....but it's OUR duty to help them understand who HE is, and how HE can help them. There's nothing like seeing a sinner's eyes change right in front of you once they have accepted Christ into their lives. You can see it physically!! And it's the height of joy you'll ever experience on this earth.....to bring someone into the fold.
