a christening dress made by my great grandmother for my grandmother

they are there all year round :D

1. What do you love about January? Really, really cold temperatures! There's just something awesome about -40*F.

2. What is your favorite classic movie? It's a Wonderful Life

3. What do you think is the oldest thing in your house? I was going to say my husband...but then I remembered that I have an autograph book from my Great-Grandmother (born 1864). I also have a dress from my Grandma's 3rd husband's mother.....probably about the same vintage.

4. Are Christmas songs still stuck in your head? All year long.

5. Do you cross a bridge in your daily commute? Only the one from sanity to insanity...on a daily basis.

6. Have you considered making a grocery haul video and posting it on youtube? No.

Unbelievable as it may sound, folks make videos of the food items they have purchased. They come home from the grocery store and spread out the items, turn on the video cam, and show each item and talk about it. It's very funny to me. Here is an example:

1. What do you love about January?
~being able to take down the tree and getting things back to normal. the past 2 years it is a sad month cause it is my brothers birth month and death month. So my mom and granny call me crying a lot.

2. What is your favorite classic movie?
~Movies make me happy
I am not big on the older movies(B&W).... my teenager is teaching me that classic is now movies I loved back in the 80's and early 90's

~I have a clock in the basement that belonged to my poopaws mother

~sad but true

~no daily commute

~heck no!!!! but I did save a lot on my car insurance

I have.. even had one come to dinner once. He wanted to go outside to play ball and our neighbors looked at us funny.

1. What do you love about January? The way you can see the contours of the land and twigs on trees that aren't really visible during summer. Also, sitting by a toasty fire and taking a nap under the afghan on the sofa on Sunday afternoons. Brrr...

2. What is your favorite classic movie? Gosh - I could write a book here, but in order not to bore you, I will refrain. I guess I'll say "To Have and Have Not" with Bogart, Bacall, Walter Brennan, and Hoagy Carmichael. AWESOME movie.

3. What do you think is the oldest thing in your house? Either an old family Bible or an old picture frame.

4. Are Christmas songs still stuck in your head? No.
