Truth Social parent company Trump Media & Technology Group to become publicly traded company

Interesting question....

No, this isn't meant as a negative post about Trump. It is just something that hit me after reading more of the latest info on Truth Social.

Part of the value of Truth Social is that it is Trump's exclusive social media site that he posts on. His Twitter/X account was enabled a while back but he hasn't posted on it except for one post last year. From what I've read, his agreement with Truth Social prohibits him from actively posting on other social media sites. Were he to break this agreement, the value of Truth Social would likely drop significantly since people would be able to see his posts on Twitter/X.

So, given that he is going to be the Republican nominee for POTUS, should he continue to honor the Truth Social agreement or should he start posting again on Twitter? The former would help preserve Truth Social's value (and his ownership stake) but the latter would likely help him get reelected as POTUS.

Which should get priority?

Because he can't play nice in the sandbox, he is better off having the restriction of not being on X.

I believe if he starts posting on X he will do more damage to himself.

Anything that will help not have Biden Communists Regime re-elected in November is a bonus. Keep him off X.
 
It actually seemed to settle nicely at around $40 but let’s see how long it holds. To be fair lots of stocks dropped this week, hopefully they’ll rebound some next week.

Well, a lot of stocks went down yesterday. But this makes news because it's Trump.
 
To be fair most securities take a deep decline on news of additional shares being issues.
 
I didn't have high expectations for this from the start.

Having said; whatever happens with the stock will be reported with political bias. If it falls, it will be blamed on Trump negativity. If it rises, they will say Trump is doing something shady to cause it.
 
I expect somewhat of a recovery tomorrow but I'm not putting any money on the table for it. It has been running fairly flat today since it's steep decline.

Um...it's his company so shouldn't he get some blame if it fails? Just as he should get credit if it succeeds.

I hope it succeeds and he ends up making billions from it. Then maybe he can pay his own legal bills instead of the RNC paying some of them.

My point was, the media will politicize it whether it's his fault or not. It's good for ratings.
 
You guys totally missed my point because you want to make it about Trump.

Good, bad or otherwise; it's sensationalism because it involves Trump. If it was owned by Joe Nobody, it probably wouldn't even be in the news.
