It's his business so of course it is about Trump. If it were owned by Joe Nobody, it would have never gotten this far.

If it succeeds and ultimately overtakes Twitter/X in popularity (highly unlikely), do you think Trump should get credit?

Sure, but if it wasn't Trump would an IPO like this even be in the news? Not on the front page, anyway.

Again, my point is...the media is going to sensationalize it and make it about Trump whether it is or not. And it's doubtful he'll get much credit if it does succeed, but if it fails it will be Trump's fault whether he did anything wrong or not. It sounds like he's probably not even running it at this point.

Like many others, Trump has celebrity status. It's front-page news that Musk is laying off 10% of his employees worldwide.

It would be no different for any other celebrity. Trump is nothing special here. You were trying to make it out just because it was Trump as if he's being singled out. He's being treated no differently than Musk or any other billionaire.

You don't think the media goes out of their way to make Trump look bad? They even did that to DeSantis, to some degree.
