Trump/Vance 2024

And most have been well made ads highlighting her accomplishments. They’re serious about her winning and they know their voter base will believe anything they advertise.

Trump just can't help stepping in it.

Granted this has the CNN slant, but still, it's not an argument that is going to win any voters so stay the heck away from it!

Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed Wednesday that his 2024 rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, “happened to turn Black” a few years ago after “all of a sudden she made a turn” in her identity. Trump’s comments, at a gathering of Black journalists, came when an interviewer asked why Black voters should consider backing a candidate with his history of racist attacks on political rivals. Trump responded by questioning Harris’ heritage.

“She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” Trump said.
“I respect either one, but she obviously doesn’t, because she was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went — she became a Black person,” he said. “I think somebody should look into that, too.”

Trump’s comments are reminiscent of similar attacks on Black political rivals in the past — including the years he spent pushing the false, racist “birther” conspiracy theory that former President Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

Harris’ mother was Indian and her father is Jamaican; both immigrated to the United States. Harris was born in Oakland, California, and attended a historically Black university, Howard University, in Washington, DC. She is the first female, first Black and first South Asian vice president.

He also says crazy crap like this.

I think he believes he can say or do anything and get elected. However, he has prepped the battlefield if does lose saying the Democrats are going to cheat.

He's already prepped the battlefield for a loss by telling his MAGAnites the Dems are going to cheat.

He's not wrong, but it wasn't a very smart place to go.

He spoke to the Association of Black Journalists today. I Just caught part of it, but it was a contentious interview. He said a couple of things there that he probably should have left alone. He did get some clapping and positive response from the audience, though some cat calls as well.

But I give him credit for having the balls to step into the lion's den. Most Republicans probably would not have.

Kaymaller did not even attend the CNN event. Trump on the other hand will talk to all, unlike libs. We have just seen Joe's back for most of his presidency.

Hiding Biden and Harris in the basement at this point... who's seen Joe by the way? Buhler Buhler... as the world starts more wars... incredible.

I don't care that Kamala is a woman or that she's black or that she's Indian. I care that she's a Marxist and an idiot. However, she identifies to what ever will make her feel she fits in. She is just cringe at how uncomfortable she is being herself. That is why she is not likable, she is not authentic to who she is.

There is absolutely zero benefit to Trump for stuff like this. In can only hurt him but he can't help himself.

What's Trump going to do when Kemp is the Republican candidate in the next Senate race we have? Will he mock Kemp and tell his MAGA supporters not to vote for him and let the Dems have the majority?

The bigger question is who are the anti-Trumpers going to blame in 4 years when Trump can’t run again and the Republicans continue to lose?

Maybe I prefer a different Republican candidate to win. Sorta like wanting DS to beat Trump.

Chances are Kemp would win the nomination if he chooses to run. Also, Boss' question appeared to be based on Kemp winning the nomination and facing a democrat in the general election.

Instead of wasting time and effort speculating I’ll wait until we know for sure who the choices are. I will vote for the Republican candidate that I trust will do the best job. I personally don’t care for Kemp but if he’s the only Republican candidate left then obviously that’s who I will vote for, whether or not I like it.
