Second Trump-Biden debate will be virtual, organizers say

President Trump, in his first interview since his positive coronavirus test, told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo on Thursday that he will not participate in the next debate, just minutes after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced the showdown, slated for Oct. 15, will be virtual.

Old knee jerk Donny. Chances are he will change his mind. If he doesn't debate in some format I think it will hurt him. He needs some redemption after the first cluster F debate.
 
I don't blame him, too many ways for the Biden crew to provide help to Joe with his answers,,, it's only a smige better than having the whole thing pre-recorded!
 
Sounds like the 2nd one will be cancelled and the last one will be town hall debate (not virtual).
 
Trump doesn't have a choice but to run another term...and win. Otherwise kiss it goodbye.

I think he knows it will be as tilted as last time and they will kill his mic, so it will be the free Biden commercial against Trump. I don't see a virtual debate being anything other than a hit job on Trump...

Discussing the upcoming Debate, Scully said to Erie News Now that he expects it to be similar to his C-SPAN show, but joked that he’ll miss his mute button. “The only difference is that I have the ability to hit the mute button, so I’m able to do that on the Washington Journal, not so much in a debate.”

The same day the debate commission announced that they may give the moderator the ability to cut mics.
