OK, I'm with Trump on this one. These people are, in fact, domestic terrorists and it's shameful that the authorities are so weak that they have allowed these scumbags to defeat them.

Apparently things are somewhat escalating in Seattle. Not that it should surprise anyone, but I had read earlier where so far the "free zone" was so far peaceful and without violence other than some residence being alarmed. Now it appears things are ramping up.

Anyone want to guess how long it will be before the National Guard rolls in?

I think the Seattle police are just watching this cosplay and laughing. The children will go home when the candy runs out. It's actually quite humorous from the perspective that it's only been 3 days and they have already built a fence, charged taxes, run out of food, and devolved into a fiefdom. I want to see where this goes.

MHO is that's it's a ploy. It makes zero sense for any govt to allow this to happen unless they want it to happen. Remember, there is an election coming up soon and this will make a great national headlines of anything goes wrong.

Well the Governor isn't aware of anything wrong in Seattle.

Oh my goodness....

Governor Jay Inslee is being widely mocked for saying he wasn’t aware of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, his state’s largest city. This is the biggest story in the country, receiving national attention landing it on the Twitter trending list for over 24 hours.

The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (also known as Free Capitol Hill) is the six-block radius around the East Precinct in Seattle that Antifa, anarchists, and community activists are illegally occupying. Earlier in the week, the city ceded the area to fringe, violent protesters thanks to feckless leadership by Mayor Jenny Durkan.

During a Wednesday afternoon press briefing, Inslee was asked to weigh in on the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. Inslee said he had no clue what the reporter was talking about. No one could believe their ears.

“Well, that’s news to me so I’ll have to reserve any comment about that,” Inslee said before an awkward chuckle. “I have not heard anything about that, from any credible source. Not that you’re not credible, just before I espouse an opinion, I should know of which I speak.”

His response earned local and national ridicule.

...armed guards have been surrounding the perimeter of the region and residents who live within the boundaries are "forced to show ID to prove you “belong” there," a law enforcement official told Fox News.

The protestors want open borders, and yet put up walls and blockades, requiring documentation to enter; while using military grade arms to protect themselves. Hypocrites much?

How about a 75 year old resident walk through the barrier and see it they knock him down on live tv.

Both the mayor and police chief said the protest is peaceful and the anarchists are patriots. They're kidding right? Storming into city hall and a police precinct building to take it over and then taking over a six-block area of the city is a peaceful protest? Extorting protection money from businesses is peaceful? FoxNews headline is appropriate, "Clueless in Seattle."

This is today's liberal. Completely devoid of common sense and testicles.

A talking head said it was the same as taking over the administration building on college campuses back in the 60's. I was there and don't remember being armed at the time or taking over people's homes and businesses. I don't remember stealing food and coffee. I don't remember guard lines and enforcers. But yeah, if a 30 year old on CNN tells you it's the same thing it must be.
