I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma and after you have been driving it a while any time you come to a stop it will drop the idle to barely over 200, it usually idles around 1000. If you rev the motor up to about 4000 before you come to a stop it will idle almost normal. It is really weird. I believe it is a Idle control valve? Been told could be an idle control motor, not even sure it has one. I was wondering if anyone has experience or equipment that they can hook it up to diagnose the problem? On the cheap as I am broke. Thanks!
