Too soon?

A). It's refreshing to be reminded that there really are conservative African Americans in this country.
B). It's extremely refreshing when they speak out.

That is all.

I wish more young people, who are brown, would stumble into this video.

One of my young employees spouted all the crap she has learned in her social justice classes, and is reading in the liberal news feeds she gets on her phone, to me as to why she supports the protesting that necessarily turns into rioting.

She spouts it is fine because they have insurance, and lives are more important than things.

They can't stop because this movement is going to protect future black lives, even if more die now, businesses are looted, and corona virus spreads.

That NOW people are listening and even though there will be rioting, that is the only way America will listen and do anything about the injustice that people of color face.

That all Americans now support this. I told her I don't think all people agree with the violence and the movement has turned off those they most want to reach. I said let's say they are listening, why aren't the leaders in the movement sitting down with civic leaders and city leaders to map out a way to make things better? How many more towns and businesses have to burn and people need to die?

At this point she is crying (literal tears) over what is happening to blacks from the police, and goes onto ask why it was alright for some white civilian men she saw on the news to stand with their trucks and shotguns guarding a downtown, when the same numbers and trucks with black men would be shot by the police S.W.A.T.T. style? That shows how black lives don't matter, and why it is unfair. She said why is is alright that black men are the enemy and white men can do whatever they want, even walk around with guns, and they are not shot, but a black man would be.

How to explain that due to the police not having enough resources to protect everywhere the riots are, it means citizens must defend the town themselves. That past behavior of the men in the town, ability to legally carry a firearm- with permits- and their resolve to not let the town burn assures the police that they will not use those guns to ransack the town, but instead to protect it. I explained that is why we have a second amendment to protect ourselves when the police are unavailable.

Of course, then she asked if it was alright for the police to in essence give the white men the opportunity to shoot the peaceful protesters. I said there would be no reason to shoot if they were not looting and lighting fires to the buildings as they did in our San Diego town of La Mesa where I am sure the shop owners would have welcomed and armed force against the Antifa style rioters.

She knew someone with a business in La Mesa who lost their business to the rioters and fires. She said he was fine with it because he had insurance... I wanted to call bull shit, but it is Kalifornia, so maybe he was fine with it?

She does know that black owned businesses are being defended by both both black and white legal.gun owners right?
