Tomorrow is Tuesday!

Tomorrow is Tuesday. So what? The Paulding County Animal Shelter will let you adopt a dog or cat for $10. When I told you that I would look out for great deals and pass them along to you I meant it. We adopted Tuesday (her new name) last week for $10! Let me tell you, even when I say something that is not politically correct she is still right here by my side supporting me. The fact that I have such a great friend for $10 is awesome. Take a few minutes and head down to the Paulding County Animal Shelter or the shelter in your county and go get you a new friend!

The Chinese buffets are going to stock up tomorrow!!!
 
We have 2 kittens that we adopted from there on a Tuesday. We went in there for a kitten for our daughter after our cat was attacked and killed and when we found out that it was "Save a Life Tuesday" we decided to go ahead and adopt two!

To be serious (I know its hard to believe) but the shelter is one of the saddest damn places I have ever been. I would rather hang out in an old folks home. It makes BBG sad. :(
 
I've been trying to talk my husband into a new kitty. My cat is old. I still love him, but it is going to be super sad when he's no longer here and I need to get a new kitty he can train to be as cool as he is!

I know. I just can't talk him into it yet. We currently have 2 dogs and the cat (all rescued from various situations). This cat we "inherited" with our current home. It's the only cat we've had in 23 years of marriage.
