The boat floated just fine, not the trailer and Explorer (the trailer is still attached) And the proud owner standing there in the baby blue hat

Ohhhhhh! I didn't enlarge the photo yesterday. You're right! I'd be just sick if I'd done that!!!
Here's a pic of the boat being tied off to the trailer before it all was drug up out of the water. I guess "gone fishin" didn't happen for the man yesterday

Your kidding, right?? The only thing operable was the boat. The SUV is trashed, and the trailer lost the left back axle during the recovery. I was very impressed with the owner/operator of the wrecker service. Watching him drag the cables, chains, and hooks into the water then diving under the vehicle to hook it up. I am certain AAA or the insurance company will be getting a huge "recovery" towing bill.

I almost had this happen to me once, I was loading my boat and the driver who was suppose to pull me out, nervous because it was a straight shift, in all his nervousness forgot to take out of reverse and upon racing the engine and dumping the clutch to keep from rolling backwards was in over half way the front tires with the fan on the moter slapping the water.
Probably cost me 10,000 miles off my clutch, floated everything in the bed of the truck to the tailgate but other than that got out ok.
