The Official Dallas Hwy 2022 Mid-term Election Thread

Another poll out today shows Walker up by 4. As much as I would love to believe that, I still think it's gonna be a runoff.

Another poll by the same company as the one above shows Kemp up by 14, so I'm kinda discounting these.

Another poll still shows Kemp up by 6, which is more in-line with other recent polls.

There is a twitter account named Catturd... you will love this tweet:

New weekly percentage chart with possibility of water main’s bursting in the counting rooms in Fulton county Georgia has just been released …

Nov 4 … 0%
Nov 5 … 0%
Nov 6 … 0%

Not a lot of movement on the maps or projections this week.

I suspect most of you know that we (the public) don't get the good polls, you have to pay for that. The campaigns and news agencies pay good money for that.

The "internal polling" shows factors like likely voters and enthusiastic voters, and stuff like that often gives a better prognostication of what's actually going to happen. What little I've been able to see indicates that categories like this show the Republicans with another 2-4 point advantage.

As always, turnout is one of the very main factors that decide elections. Indications are that the younger voters aren't turning out in high numbers this time. Biggest reason probably being that Donald Trump isn't on the ballot, so the hate vote won't be quite the influence it was last election. This is why the Democrats desperately keep bringing Trump up, because it motivates the angry, Trump hating voters.

There are also reports that now that the younger voters have seen what their last vote brought them, they aren't so happy with it.

So these factors would tend to give the GOP a significant advantage.

The desperation from the Democrats would also suggest they believe a butt whoopin is coming.

The media and talking heads clearly think the Dems will get burned on Tuesday.

That said, we still don't know what the effect of mail-in voting will be this time or how secure it will be. I am completely convinced that mail-in voter fraud alone threw the election last time, and we really don't know whether or not it's been fixed.

So I want to predict a HUGE night for the Republicans. I just wish I had more confidence in the election system.

I can only stomach so much of listening to Erick Erickson on WSB Radio, but he made some pretty good points earlier this week. The internal polling shows republicans picking up at least 35 seats in the House and as much as 44 seats in the House. The senate is looking very good for the republicans along with several Governors races. Bottom line, the economy is the #1 issue with voters.

Look for Herschel to win, look for Kemp to win too.

I hope the polls are correct and I certainly agree that turnout is of upmost importance. I just have little faith in our state voting system after the 2020 fiasco. I’m hoping to renew my faith in it after next week. My concern is what happens if the expected red wave disappears at 2am?

A lot of people are saying Zeldin will win this, even though the polls show Hochul with a small lead.

If he wins, this will be a HUGE upset and embarrassment for the Dems. I believe he would be the first GOP governor of NY since Pataki.

A Marist poll shows the Georgia senate race tied, and Fetterman up by 6 points. This poll seems to be waited toward Democrats.

A Trafalgar poll shows Oz up by 2.

The Marist poll also shows Kemp up by 8
