What Australia is doing, I keep thinking California should do for all the drugged out, mentally unstable homeless living in tents or under tarps, shitting all over the streets and leaving trash and hypodermic needles everywhere, in addition to stealing other people's things to sell to get money for drugs.
Right now law enforcement can't/won't take these people to jail for loitering, theft, drug use, threatening citizens, or shitting and pissing in public... all these are low level problems, but once 8,000 people in a city are homeless and doing this, it causes society to crumble.
I think the USA could build a bunch of facilities like Australia did, out in the dessert, and house those who choose to live on the street and live a life of crime.
Alas, they will instead build that to lock up those individuals who are functioning members of society who disagree with the political ruling class.
Good to hear even though it may only be a temporary suspension pending the litigation outcome. I just wish these big companies would grow a pair and make it part of their permanent company policy but that’s expecting too much.

Though I'm no fan of the mandates and passports, they made more sense a year or so back when the vaccines were working better. They weren't nearly as effective against the Delta, and it's looking like they will do little or nothing against the Omicron.
So what happened to following the science?
