He even went into Kirkland's with me in Hiram and that is NOT "his kind of store". Love our new Kirkland's! If you haven't been there, you need to as it is WONDERFUL!

Talked to my Mom earlier, she told me the rain missed Cobb as well.

We got a bit up here. Didn't interfere with moving, thankfully. Even had time to buy a washer and dryer off Craigslist - and move it from a second floor apartment!!!

Wow, we got your rain and then some in Richmond late this afternoon. It had looked like rain all day and I needed to run out and get some milk. As I headed out of the house I heard a distant rumble of thunder. No problem I can get there and get back home and probably won't rain here anyway.

Wrong!

It was raining lightly by the time I came out of the store and by the time I was turning onto our street it was raining so hard I could barely see to drive. I got a little wet but didn't melt.

We never got a drop!

I had to drag out the hoses and sprinklers and water the yard some. I've put out over 200 lbs of seed since fall and I ain't gonna let it die that easy.
