Spotify to remove Neil Young's songs after Joe Rogan ultimatum

I don't do Spotify... I wonder how many who use Spotify even know who Mitchell is... or listen to her.

I guess these artists think what they did in the 60s, sticking it to the man, is going to make them heroes.

So ridiculous. Watch for a wave of cancel culture to be butt hurt this next week over it.
I liked her music and I liked some of Young's as well. But people need to realize is that they are the ones on the wrong here because they are trying to restrict free speech.

Again...if someone doesn't like Rogan's views, they should simply not listen. That is the American way.

Well she is one of the Laurel Canyon bunch so no big surprise. I will defend her and Neil music wise but I have no illusions at all that anybody cares that they removed their Spotify access. It would not surprise me if Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Steven Stills, Graham Nash, Roger McGuinn or Carole King followed suit. Most of the rest of the Laurel Canyon bunch are dead. I defend their right to do what they want with their music but have no delusions it will change anything.

Isn't it weird, the stupid people following the progressive/marxist leaders do not understand what cutting off free speech, individual freedom, and personal liberty lead to.

Why are they threatened by Joe Rogan and his little show?

Somehow they think if they let the leaders determine everything for them, and make laws about every aspect of life, they will be safe. Not understanding that it never ends well for the populous who has to give up all freedom to follow the leaders who always become tyrannical.

Rogan is pointing out those "leaders" have not allowed Doctors to use the medicines we have, that have been shown to help fight Covid.

The dear leaders don't want us to know that, because we might stop taking an injection that the manufacture of it admits no longer matches the virus due to variants, and no longer gives protection. But it is a hell of a way to redistribute American money to the top elite.

The loony left is attracted to communism because of “equality”.

It is a fact that no communist nation has equality. Far from it, in a communist nation the upper party members enjoy upper class housing and food while the masses have to line up for bread like this:

Looks like what happened when Newsom shut down all stores except those he deemed "essential." - But the morons say they felt safe....

We even see today the loony left assumes that all work has the same value and that the value of goods is the amount of work necessary to produce the goods. Paying all $15 an hour even when the hamburger being made is not worth paying a person $15 an hour to make it.

For communism, Marx some how imagined that once everything is abundant, everyone will be willingly work for no incentive to the individuals, hence create excessive goods that everyone’s desires would be satisfied.

However that goes against human nature — “leisure” is also a desired thing.

Nor do marxists understand marginal benefit reduction principal. When goods are abundant, more people will chose leisure over producing anything.

When Communism becomes the end-game, people do not play nice afterwards because those who could created more value were not treated nicely. People react to the “dictatorship of proletarian” by stop producing more value.

This sounds like BS but after all my opinions on the music artist I honestly do not know who Joe Rogan is. I will embarrass myself more over the last few months when I heard JR referred to I swear I thought it was that actor Seth Rogan. I do not listen to podcast or pundits. I probably would agree more with the conservative side more than the liberals but I think they are all FOS.

Odd thing is, as I understand, he was not a conservative.
Right, Joe doesn't think much of Donald Trump as a person but approved of most of the things he did for the country. I wold call him a pragmatic libertarian. A one time stand up comic, game show host and MMA announcer,,, and he has a podcast where he covers most any topic, and does it in a very cerebral way if it is a serious subject like Covid-19 and vaxing. In my opinion, he is worth the listen. I sometimes catch his stuff on YouTube.

I will hold my opinion to when and if I ever listen to him. At face value a comic, game show host, MMA announcer sounds like a credible resume to base my beliefs on. Of course we have had a POTUS whose resume consisted of being a community organizer/one term congressman and a POTUS who was a reality TV host and robber baron developer so I guess I can't go by a resume.

We’ll the weekend is almost over and I haven’t missed any of the artist or JR so I guess I’ll survive. The MSM made it sound questionable.

Well now I’m also calling for Spotify to remove JR. He is obviously too well spoken and level headed to be allowed to spew his fairness and balanced point of view. Plus he’s too apologetic and self critical to be heard.
