...how will this affect the election? Will it help or hurt him?

I think it partially depends on how this plays out. From what I gather, neither Trump of the first lady are sick at this point. The best scenarios would be that they got false positives or that they have it asymptomatically. But they could get very sick as well, and possibly worse.

Wonder if Trump is still taking HCQ? If so, maybe that could result in a light case.

If he does get sick and stays sick through the election, that could be a major factor. If he whips it and bounces back, that could also affect voters.

Will there be any more debates? If he isn't sick or very sick, I suppose he could do a virtual debate. That could make him look strong if he doesn't misbehave again.

Too many possible scenarios here.

Too MANY scenarios (and offshoots thereof) to figure it out, but I'm afraid that we need to prepare for massive socialism when Biden wins! If you though the debate was a s%*tshow,,, wait til you see a democrat administration led by Pelosi.
 
Assuming he recovers quickly (10 days or so), I doubt this will have any major effect on the election and the debates will continue. I doubt anyone that was already voting for him is now not going to and I'm not sure he's trying to win independents at this point anyway.

If he gets really sick.... :dunno:

So how do you prepare for something like this. Have already started a list of stuff to stock up on but would like to hear others opinion.
 
He has to quarantine for 14 days, so that will probably put a damper on 1 of the debates. His doctor said he had "mild symptoms", let's hope it stays that way.

The Republican Party can actually replace him on the ballot up to the Electoral College vote on December 2nd if he dies or is incapacitated. I just hope he recovers and we get this shi* show over with.

1. Stock up on ammunition. There will be a lot of loud mouth democrats that need a good case of "Lead Poisoning".
2. Stock pile as much gasoline as you can. Pelosi's crew will install California electric mandates.
3. Liquidate as much of your assets as possible and put it in gold which you must hide on your premises. If they can't find it, they can't tax it.
4. Have a bug out plan ready. If they can't find you, they can't put you in jail for tax evasion.

I’ll take my chances, if things get that desperate there isn’t enough preparing and stockpiling one can do. Eventually you’re out of bartering material and survival food / water. I’ve been waiting years for this potential scenario and so far we’ve avoided it.
 
Any opinions now that Trump has bounced back and came out swinging?

I think this will be a net positive for him.
