So what about Tim Kaine?

I see pot much as I do alcohol. Most of the violent crime associated with it is the same as what the mob was during prohibition. And either can be abused and become addictive.

I do think the feds should stay out of it altogether and let the individual states decide.

But Johnson seems to like refer just a little too much.

We already know what the brain dead state politicians are doing with pot and I've heard what Trump says about allowing the states to make their own mistakes (which would normally please most conservatives). On the other hand, Goofy Gary is saying to legalize it out-right. If you remove marijuana from the federal schedule, that's exactly what will happen.

It blows my mind how society has been seemly trying to reduce tobacco use on hand while simultaneously pushing pot on the nation.

At the 1:15 minute mark.

Hey now, don't be messing with my chewing tobacco. That's off limits.

In policy, yes he might be better than Trump.

But the party affiliation still worries me.

And, I would be concerned that as president, the powers that be (whoever that is) will force him to swing to the left.
Its possible, but the sitting president has historically set the tone of the government. Tim Kaine has a record, and it is one that given the circumstances is far better than the two main options. Either VP would be better.

The fact is that no current Presidential candidate will stand in the way of any action taken by Congress on the decriminalization of marijuana. They all have said as much. So if that's where you make your stand you should be looking elsewhere to find a difference in the candidates. That is of course unless you have the secret code to know when Trump is just lying to everyone else and not you.
