Smooth talker...

I've been watching the town hall thing on CNN. Tonight is Carson, Rubio, and Cruz. Tomorrow night will have Trump, Kasich, and Bush.

One thing is pretty clear...Rubio is a very good communicator. I don't think I've heard a single um, uh, or ah and he's giving really good answers except when trying to explain his immigration past.

Carson was also really good. This town hall format is MUCH better for him than debates but he still has no chance and should drop out.

Cruz is just starting but I'm already annoyed with how he pauses too much when talking. Yes, it's petty but it's also annoying.

Rubio has proven himself to say one thing and do another. One only has to look at what he said he would do when he ran for the Senate and what he actually did once in the Senate.

After the SC numbers came in, and Jeb dropped out, I texted MrB (he's been sickjust like me, but he has Man Cold, so he probably ought to have already gone to the ER but he's been in bed this afternoon) and told him the news. And also of Trump's win. Long story, but,

He came downstairs and said, "I got your text. Good for Jeb, but really Trump? And Rubio? He's a snake oil salesman!"

My response was, "as LTD said, like his father also said, 'Never trust a preacher in a shiny suit.'"

He said, "EXACTLY!"
