during an online art class, his teacher sees a toy gun in his room. That's right; the kid is at home participating in his online class when the teacher sees the toy gun and calls the police. The police go to the boys home and the whole thing is treated as if the kid had brought the gun to school. The kid gets suspended for five days. WTH? The school should have just called his parents if they were concerned.

Here's the thing...with virtual classrooms, the teachers are electronically coming into people's homes. They can't expect to project all the normal rules upon people's private property.
