A liberal public education is what's wrong with those people.

My father pulled me out of that school system in 4th grade... most of my life I thought Dad was "out there" for changing my school when it went to year round, then moving us back to San Diego where he and mom grew up and it was conservative.

The things he said about the Northern California school's teachings, and how they wanted to have influence over the kids instead of the parents teaching their kids their values. He also railed against year-round school, that it was the government indoctrination... Dad was smarter than I realized... he saw it in the early 70's.

The progressives want the schools back opened now that they have seated Biden, but they gave the union too much power... now the teachers won't go back until the union demands are met. That is the problem with corrupt plans... those who go along are also corrupt. The unions and big government- what a pair.

Schools named after historical and currently prominent figures like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Dianne Feinstein have been slated for the chopping block for their connections to slavery, genocide and colonization.

Your logic is flawed. Paulding and Cobb counties were named after white men. Just like all other locations and streets in the entire United States. We could keep naming streets and buildings after seasons or flowers though. Botanical names haven't offended anyone. Yet.

How much do they think they will reduce carbon emissions by banning gas stations within their city limits? Not much because all those residents who drive will continue to drive. All they've done is add some inconvenience to car owners who will not be happy if they have to drive out of town to buy gas. The people on that city council probably won't be re-elected.

It's kinda like San Fran virtually outlawing the construction of new housing and then blaming the housing market for high prices and increasing homelessness. I'm sure rising gas prices locally will be the fault of "big oil".
