Royal Marshall has passed away

Neal Boortz's sidekick died suddenly this morning. He leaves behind a wife and 2 children ages 2 & 4 :(

This makes me so sad. :(

I loved Royal. His humor and banter with Boortz was so much fun. He will be missed. I am devastated for his wife and children.
 
I never saw a picture of him until I looked at the article. I always imagined him to be much older than he was.

That's a classic. A friend of mine had it on his laptop while we were in Iraq and would play it for people in our unit. It was a favorite.
 
I couldn't believe it when I heard it while driving in to work this afternoon. I did enjoy him on the radio very much. Boortz has some big shoes to fill. :(
 
I always liked to hear him and Neal go at it. They may have disagreed on some issues but I'll say this, Neal defended his people to the death. You didn't call his show and degrade any of his staff. Royal will be missed.
