I'm seriously thinking of taking a road trip out west. It's been over 20 years since my wife and I have been to Colorado and I'm thinking it's about time to hit the road again. We loved Estes Park, Eldora Mountain, and Boulder. We're also thinking about the desert southwest, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, etc.

I suspect the best time to go is before October before the snow gets deep at higher elevations in the Rockies...

Sounds like a nice trip.

I need to retire and do more traveling. Anyone wanna buy a business?

We'll be doing our Colorado tour starting next week. About a month and a half there in various places around the state. We're in South Dakota today, and will visit Nebraska in a couple of days. It's fun to be retired and wander around the country in a motorhome.

I wouldn't mind traveling out West for a change. I have a nephew who lives in Colorado but he hasn't been able to point out any beaches for us to visit there :raft:

I keep seeing this post and have an uncontrollable, overwhelming, urge to post this video. (not trying to hijack this thread, or anything) But, honestly, who doesn't absolutely LOVE John Denver and this song?

Oh, and if you do decide to go, hope you have a great time!
