I was wondering why he was standing there so long. It was because they were filming the video below. Hopefully that is why he took his mask off and hopefully he put it back on afterwards (but he probably didn't).

He was at HOME with no one around him,,, I don't wear a mask at home, even when I'm around people, so what's the big deal?
He's probably less contagious now than when he went to Walter Reid.
 
Folks on here should know I think DJT is a moron, personality wise anyway. I will vote for him holding my nose like last time because I want a conservative SCOTUS appointment. I do try to be objective when looking at most issues even though I am sure there is some bias in my views. In this case I will play devil's advocate on both sides. Maybe he was trying to show the world that the U.S. has no weakness at the top and is not vulnerable to unopposed outside influence just because the POTUS is ill. Maybe he was trying to show his critics on the left the same I don't know. At that instant in time he was not putting anyone at risk if you believe the social distancing guide lines. On the other hand it was a stupid stunt given the panic culture in the country right now. While I don't buy all the hype about COVID it does exist and many, many voters are sensitive to the subject. This goof ball has zero concept of what the common man thinks. He has never been a common man. I can think of no one who gives his enemies more ammunition to fire back at him. It is really incredible how arrogant and self centered this guy is. Surely he has advisors telling him this was not a smart move. I believe he is too pompous to take advice which is really scary when it comes to global relations in sensitive areas that could result in war or worse. This stunt makes me question his decision making capability.
 
Even if there is no one standing around him, as I understand it, you are shedding the virus even after you no longer have symptoms. So it lingers in the air and falls to the ground. That is why most people must test negative for covid to go back to work, which is often 30 more days. Their body is still producing the virus germs after they are no longer feeling sick.

If it were most of us, I think we would isolate in one room to prevent the whole place from having our covied germs, and limit our exposure to others at that time.

That is why he seems so reckless about other people's health.

His "motorcade drive by" was stupid. That the secret service had to be that close to him for that period of time, exposing them to the virus was un-called for. Now they need to isolate for the next two weeks. I am sure they will get the same care as the president if they get sick, because they are the secret service, but that sucks.

I think he did it for the world and his supporters to see he was still The President, and Nancy was not going to get her chance to be Commander in Chief. Many on the left were so excited thinking Pense would also go down with the Rona and Nancy would be their president, leading to AOC, Biden, and Kamala ruling the United Socialist States of America (USSA).
 
I just can't. Ripping off his mask and saluting an empty field because there were photogs out there somewhere. I just can't. He is a damaged human being.
