Politics at the hair salon

I've got Ms Vivian with me today. We're at her hair salon getting her hair done & I'm listening to the women banter back & forth.

One elderly lady here is pro-Obama. Her reasoning, it appears, is because nobody can balance a budget right now and besides, I like him. Apparently this is the first time her grand daughter gets to vote and sh seems to be so proud. She says "Oh we don't talk about any of it & I'm not sure she's read up on the candidates yet, but she'll go and vote for somebody....

I feel faint. :faint

Yes. I really wasn't trying to eavesdrop but there's not much else to do but chit chat in a salon, if you're not working.
