Wow! I knew we were close, but to see it like that....

Yes, I remember that one, and I remember that I called State Farm the next day and got an earthquake rider added to my HO ins. They made me wait a week or so (their policy not to take advantage after a disaster or something like that), but it's still on there. Heck, it's only like $12 or some such per year, and I sure feel better knowing it's there. Wouldn't take much to knock a house off-kilter of its foundation, and boy howdy, then we'd be in a mess! Call me crazy if you want, but I'm happy it's there.

That sounds like a good idea. I think I'll call my State Farm Dude about that.

My house is insured through USAA. I'll have to give them a call. We live near a fault line. How exciting is that?
