Nova Scotia outlaws support on highway for 'freedom' truckers days after massive protest

It's catching on

Which is both good and bad. It's great that they're standing up for "freedom" but it's bad that it's only intensifying supply chain interruptions.

Agreed, but its' going to take something like this to get the masses to revolt and get this crap reversed.

I seem to remember someone on here when this started saying that all the "executive orders" and "emergency powers" from all the political leaders could be habit forming and they wouldn't like giving them up. :(

Hope everyone has some extra food in the pantry.

I think this is the only thing right now that will work. These truckers have spent the last 2 years trying to keep our shelves stocked... people are more aware now how important truckers are. Everyone is aware of the supply chain now.

Our arrogant politicians want to impose extra hurdles like vaccines and paper work about their vaccine status - when all the truckers want to do is their job.

Even the extra requirements in California for truckers is absurd... it would serve the whole state right if trucking companies just said, screw it, we will not do business there any more. Only that would get the attention of these screwed up politicians who write and pass over 700 laws every year making it impossible to work live or operate a business.

I hope this wakes people up that politicians work for the people, not the other way around... and we need to change the power structure.

Pretty good summary... Govt wants to digitally track the truckers. The power the government is giving itself is wrong.

Throughout history, people have had to make sacrifices to gain their freedom. We might need to again.

Whatever it takes to defeat tyranny.

This should not happen in Canada

I saw this on live video. Corrupt police. One had pulled the guy for no reason. The other one pulled in front of him and deliberately backed into him. The driver went into reverse trying to avoid the cop suv. He was then dragged violently out and arrested

Sorry but that's no different than attempting to evade the police. Once you're pulled over it's time to put them hands on 10 and 2...anything other than that leads to the outcome in the clip. On the other hand, some things are worth the outcome.

Perhaps you are correct... I wonder though based on the police now unlawfully taking their fuel and food to try and get them to leave.

I think we will see more of this, and I don't think it will be lawful on the part of the police. The police will do what they are told, even if unlawful, based on how Justin Trudeau thinks he will crush this and will not back off on the mandates.

Yeah, as an American I'm pretty appalled at what they are doing. But there again, we're almost as bad.
This is where police and those enforcing Trudeau's nonsense will say I was just doing what I was told.

It is shocking how easily men are convinced to treat those they are to protect this badly. It has been being built by the Marxists, name anyone who was against vaxx and mask as; dirty, stupid, non-conforming, the reason the virus did not go away... so they justify the mistreatment.

Looks like Europe may be getting into the act:

You might want to reconsider going for a romantic dinner on Valentine's Day in Brussels — as the city is likely to be completely paralyzed.

A coordinated pan-European convoy of anti-vaccine protestors is expected to descend on Brussels on February 14. Brussels police are gearing up should the demonstration turn violent as others have done — but they admit being somewhat in the dark about protesters' plans.

A spokesperson for Belgian Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden told POLITICO that local law enforcement was closely following the "calls for demonstrations." But she said that "despite the monitoring, it is not obvious to find out what the exact plans of the European Freedom Convoy are, as well as to estimate the exact size of the movement."

The protestors have a clear goal: to disrupt Brussels as much as possible in protest against anti-COVID-19 measures taken by national governments and the European Union.

It is unclear how many demonstrators from across the 27-country bloc will reach the Belgian capital, but tens of thousands of people have spent weeks planning the February 14 protest. Many have used encrypted messaging services like Telegram to plan routes, share logistics support and raise funds for what some hope will be a weeks-long push to snarl the EU's bureaucratic capital, based on POLITICO's review of more than 30 Telegram channels associated with the upcoming protest.

The group has not yet submitted a formal authorization request to the Brussels police and mayor Philippe Close, according to his spokesperson. "Generally, we always try to have a contact to be able to work something out. At the moment, there are no requests but we always remain alert," she added.

The Brussels police, which will be on the front line of any protest, is "monitoring the situation on social media," said a spokesperson who declined to comment on the scale of forces due to be deployed that day.

The federal police, which oversees all local police forces, said that although it had preparatory meetings, it was "too soon to say" what to expect on the day as they didn't have "a clear picture of the number of trucks yet."

These groups — who hail from all 27 member countries and have close ties to similar anti-COVID-19 movements in North America, Australia and beyond — are channeling the anger of a vocal minority of Europeans who believe it is unlawful to mandate coronavirus vaccinations or restrict people's movements to protect public health.

I have a theory on what’s coming and why. I have no inside info on this whatsoever. Just a theory. Could be all crap. But here goes:

I’m curious who else is getting concerned messages from friends in Ottawa about a blackout and extreme police presence resulting in unlawful arrests.

I got a few messages back to back and I’ve seen videos of organizers reaching out.

Jesse Kelly@JesseKellyDCThe Canadian trucker protest is the first COVID test I can think of with actual teeth. In the entire world. Sure there have been huge street demonstrations in Europe, but nothing that can truly harm The System.5:06 AM · Feb 8, 2022·Twitter for iPhone

Truckers are a different story. When you consider virtually everything around you was on a truck at some point, you realize these are quite possibly the most important people in your country. Not the government. Not the doctors. Not the military.

The truckers make the economy go. Which brings us to Canada. These truckers show up and quickly Justin Trudeau is whisked off somewhere “for his own safety”

Those are all facts. Here comes my crazy theory.

Trudeau is a true globalist. All the Western leaders are now. No loyalty at all to their home countries. Only loyal to each other. Only concerned with increasing their wealth and power.

What happened when Trudeau was in hiding. Again, just my theory. I think he had a meeting of some kind with the other powers that be. And I think he was told in no uncertain terms that he must not cave to the trucker protest.

Think how significant it would be if he folded. It would have the possibility of changing western civilization. If something like that caught on, it’s not far-fetched to see truckers end governments. America’s included.

There is no way corrupt Western leaders could risk that. This protest must be crushed for ALL of their sake. So, and this is the second part of my theory, I think this Canada situation gets extremely ugly from here. Extremely ugly.2

The cops don’t have enough men to put this down. The military will be brought in. Mass incarceration is coming. So many arrested they’ll need to build camps. But then, again I told you this theory was crazy, what happens to the trucks?

It’s not just about stopping the honking and getting the trucks out of Ottawa. Those trucks need to start running again. They need to start bringing goods to and fro. Well, who’s gonna do that? Military?

And how could you possibly organize that? You wouldn’t know what went where. But I could see a situation where Canada actually starts nationalizing whole industries because of this. I mean full-blown Maoism.

Government would simply keep seizing control of the next level of industry to keep it running. “For the public health” of course.

Where it goes from there, no idea.

But that’s my theory.

That’s all.
