Ever have a dream that is so bad that you awake feeling so disturbed you don't want to go back to sleep? Isn't it awful? And that bad feeling stays with you the rest of the day because it seemed so real. That happened to me last night. :'(

I've had a couple of nightmares in my life that scared me for MONTHS afterward. I refuse to even speak the details aloud, they were so awful and horrible. I hate that. :(

I've had dreams about both my parents after they have passed and they were so real and when I awoke I would look around the house for them and had this aching longing to see them.

I've had those too. I agree, it's awful the way they stay with you afterwards. Thankfully they don't happen often.

I hope you're able to shake it off & have a great day'

I have night terrors - I can totally relate.

5yo nephew had them for about two years after his father was killed. It was awful. They gradually disappeared, but I can't tell you how many nights we sat up with him while crying ourselves at his pitiful little self.

I don't have them often - maybe twice a year. BUT, I can tell you every detail about every single one of them... I had the first one when I was about 8 - in it, I was abucted from a Kmart parking lot by someone who was hiding under a van, he took me into a camper, where he held a gun to my head. To this day, I won't park next to a full size van nor will I park near a camper in a shopping center. And that wasn't even the worst one.
