Newt Gingrich predicts Biden-Harris ticket will collapse: 'This will be the high-water mark'

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich anticipated Monday that the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris Democratic presidential ticket will "collapse."

A ticket usually gets a 5 to 10 percent boost from a convention, and a 3 to 5 percent boost from picking the VP. Early polls show that Biden lost about 5 percent with the Harris pick. I will be curious how this virtual convention works. My guess is that he will get nothing from it.

I'm thinking that after the Republican virtual.convention that there won't be 5 percent between the two candidates. Once again it will boil down to turnout in the purple states.
