Really makes you wonder what the hell is going on ? ? ?

New York City has announced 3,778 additional 'probable' deaths attributed to coronavirus, which were never confirmed because no test was administered.

:dunno:

The more the numbers get inflated, the longer this things will continue to go. Our economy cannot stay shut down for much longer or we are all going to be in trouble. We are already trimming the fat from our budgets at work so as to not cut people. A new strategy of keeping the most vulnerable quarantined/stay at home while the healthier get back to work (hopefully to develop the herd immunity that we need) so we can get the economy going again. Lots of weird crap going on with this. Is this virus serious? Most definitely but we have to take some risks at some point or none of us will be working much longer. The government is already licking its chops to swoop in and "take care" of everyone. Look at New York: the mayor is stating that they are delivering meals (not saying its not needed), trying to protect the supply, etc. We cannot let the government provide it all. That is a dangerous precedent. These are different times right now due to this virus but we cannot allow the government to overstep their limits.

Whew, I think I posted way too many things in there. Ah well, I have to get it off my chest.

Wait...you mean...I can’t believe it....noooooo way.....China isn’t the only country with crap numbers???

I’m still sitting back waiting for the “All Clear” signal. Then maybe people will logically sit down and try to decipher some of the inconsistencies in the U.S. numbers.

He can announce whatever he wants, but these aren't official numbers. The government is counting anyone who dies with a positive test while under care. This includes the early "presumptive tests" which occurred in the first two weeks if the patient died prior to having the test verified by the CDC. However, even these patients were tested, just not by the CDC approved lab. Now that we have lots of labs because the CDC relinquished control this is no longer an issue. If you test positive and die while under care, you count.

In fact. I know of no legitimate reason why NY isn't or wasn't testing these people. I think the hospitals had tests from almost the beginning.
